The DC Grays DC MVP Travel Baseball/Softball Program was established in 2023 to provide an additional baseball experience for advanced players within our Mamie Johnson, Ward 8 and JBAB Little Leagues. We currently field teams at the 8u, 9U, 10U, 11U and 12U age levels, with the DC Grays MVP Junior Travel season running from Summer 2023 through Spring 2024. This will include Fall and Winter development programs.

All teams compete locally, with some participating at the state, regional and national levels of competition. DC Grays DC MVP Travel teams consist primarily of Mamie Johnson, Ward 8 and JBAB Little League players, along with as many as two out of boundary exemptions per team.

The mission of the DC Grays MVP Travel Baseball/Softball Program is to promote and facilitate the development of players' skills along with the understanding and respect for the game of baseball and softball, while playing in a competitive team environment. Though our DC Grays MVP Travel is not directly affiliated with Little League, we work very closely and in cooperation with our little league programs. Players on DC Grays Junior Travel teams must also plan on participating in Mamie Johnson, Ward 8 and JBAB Little League during the spring 2021 season to remain eligible for DC Grays Junior Travel Baseball/Softball.

DC Grays MVP Travel Baseball/Softball plans to field teams at 8u, 9u, 10u, 11 & 12u age group. These teams will carry the DC Grays brand. DC Grays MVP Travel teams are the only teams allied with Mamie Johnson, Ward 8 and JBAB Little Leagues, however all costs associated to run the Grays MVP Travel program come from DC Grays and the families of the participating players. Mamie Johnson, Ward 8 and JBAB Little Leagues does not fund the Junior Travel program.

DC Grays MVP Youth Travel
